I found this great online clothing store called Chica Boom. They currently have a few different lines. One is a pirate themed line, which makes me want to go pillage or something. There is the most stylin’ heart hoodie. It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day. (Who needs a valentine when you have a cute hoodie?) Chica Boom also has an amazingly cute cheetah print hoodie on sale. Even Seventeen agrees this is a store to keep an eye on. Some of their clothing as been seen in the August 2006 and February 2007 issues.
I can’t wait until the next season of Project Runway, but I guess finding out past contestant Nick Verreos is a guest designer for a well known prom dress store, Windsor Store, will have to do. To be completely honest, when I saw the dresses he designed I was fairly unimpressed, or as Micheal Kors would say “underwhelmed”. It kills me to say this because I loved him on Project Runway, but I saw other dresses on the site that I liked a whole lot more. To make things fair, I also have to admit I was the pickiest prom dress shopper ever. I didn’t want anything plain, but I didn’t want anything that was too gaudy with ruffles and sequins and shimmies. Though I’m not too into his prom dresses, I do currently lurk his blog every once in a while. He talks about all his current activities and all the great runway shows he gets to go to. Take a peep at some of the dresses in his prom collection:
NOTE: These dresses aren’t shipped until 2/15/07, but you can pre-order them now.

Though I am thoroughly obsessed with fashion and shopping, I also happen to be a music fiend. If you saw me at any point in the day, I would either be listening to music, singong a song that is stuck in my head, or watching something that has to do with music. From day to day the soundtrack of my life varies, but as long as there’s music in the background I feel safe. When I saw Le’album on stalkspace MySpace, I was completely stoked. Le’album is a bag company that makes purses out of old records. It is the intertwining of fashion and music at its best. Like fashion, the music industry is always evolving, but unlike fashion, the production trends don’t come back into style. Records are now passé, it is doubtful any teenager now has ever laid eyes on a record much less heard one, but Le’album takes these lost memories and turns them into the cutest handbags and totes. They have a vast collection of records to choose from on their online store. You could have a Frank Sinatra handbag or a Journey zipper tote. They even give you the option of using a record from your personal collection. There are three designs to choose from: the handbag, the open tote, and the zipper tote. And all totes are lined with new ultra cute heart fabric (unless otherwise requested). If you order today you’ll have one of these spiffy bags in your hands (or on your arm) in 10 days or less. You can buy a record tote on the Le’album online store or show your support and add them as a friend on MySpace.
