Patent Leather Princess
When I was little, almost every pair of shoes I had was patent leather. I felt like a movie star or something (I’m sure this feeling went along with thinking a soap opera was singing into the soap in the bath tub). I think the proper term for the look I was trying to pull off was “snazzy” and I loved it, but as I grew up I started to grow out of my love for shiny shoes. No longer would I let my mom play dress-up with me and put me in über-puffy dresses and patent leather shoes, but unfortunately I think I am reverting back to my childhood. I’ve been wearing high heels since I was 11 and only now have I found a dire need to have a pair of patent leather heels in almost every color.
