Trousers: Not just for Men
While skinny leg pants don’t seem to be going anywhere soon, 70s style wide-leg trousers are making a much needed comeback. Don’t get me wrong: I love skinny jeans, but they are definitely a hard look to pull off. Wide-leg trousers are more body friendly, so all those little imperfections are hidden. I also happen to love how shoes look under a longer pant leg. I feel so sexy just having the tip of my shoe peeking out and I also like the fact that people have no idea how tall you are when your pant leg is longer (this coming from a girl that 5’4″ish and I mean -ISH). They’re also super versatile. If you’re going for a girlie look, pair them with a frilly top or you can make it casual by adding a cute vintage tee. So mix it up a bit–show off your gams with some skinny jeans one day and the next go demure with a great pair of wide-leg trousers.
