My Eyes Aren’t Lying Now
Yesterday it rained-like-whoa all day, and by the time I got home to CT it was Spring. I love that feeling after it rains and most of the snow has melted, and you just know warmer weather is on it’s way. So, today I’m dedicating everything to my favorite part of spring, TEES. Technically, I wear t-shirts all the time and just throw a hoodie or even just a winter coat over them, but it’s nice to be able to wear a tee and not have my mom say, “you do know there’s snow on the ground?”
Anyway, on to the best part. I was doing lurking on MySpace or other blogs or God knows where, but I saw this T-shirt with Johnny Depp on the front. I flipped out majorly, except it was in my head because I was at school. I’m such a JD fan; I totally plan on putting my awesome french skills to good use and become his nanny or something. So, when I saw the shirt my little fingers went click, and I was transported to this great site for a clothing company called Your Eyes Lie. I got a good chuckle out of that name because my brother says I always find the most emo things; maybe he’s right. Your Eyes Lie (YEL) is a clothing company from the UK that has tons of great witty tees. The collection the Johnny Depp shirt was from is the “Destroy Pop” collection. The tees feature pop icons who broke the mold (obviously) like Charlie Chaplin and David Bowie. There’s also a killer shirt with a skull bear on it. Pretty much everything is in black and white so you don’t look like your wearing one of those silk-screen In Loving Memory Of… tees.
