Style Dare: Suspenders
Lately, celeb style icons like Lindsay and Mischa have been spotted wearing what some would call modern-day lederhosen. I personally think they’re more of suspenders. I’m not really a fan of shorts, so at first I was on the fence with this style, but it has grown on me. It’s a feminine twist on men’s classic, and I’m all for equal fashion rights. If guys can wear heels, then girls can wear suspenders. Right? They are also really versatile. You can wear them with a ultra girlie shirt like Mischa or channel Lindsay’s Coachella outfit by pairing it with a great tank. I would personally take the middle ground and pair the suspenders with a plain fitted tee.

I, for one, am under the impression that suspenders are awesome. I recently bought a great pair of suspender pants. Traditionally they’re viewed as something crisp and uniform-like, but I would wear these on a regular day. They are just a different way to automatically amp up your outfit. And, oh yeah, they’re terribly sexy, too.
