Making Rubber Fashionable
When people think of fashion, the farthest thought from their mind is probably condoms, but at the 4th China Reproductive Heath New Technologies & Products Expo, they are making condoms the most fashionable glove you’ll ever put on. The fashion show was organized by China’s largest condom manufacturer, Guilin Latex Factory, to encourage the use of condoms in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Personally seeing girls strutting down the catwalk in everything from wedding gowns to bikinis completely made of condoms got my attention.
Maybe they should do something like this in the US. They could dress the people in the Trojan commercials in outfits made entirely of condoms. Now I’m stoked; does anyone have the number to their marketing firm so I can pitch this?
We Wanna Know: Though a condom t-shirt isn’t the most practical item of clothing, do you think this is a good idea to promote safe sex?
