CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists
Yesterday the finalist for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund were announced. Out of 101 applicants 10 were chosen. The winner will receive £100,000 (about $200,000) and two runners up will be awarded £25,000 (about $50,000). All three recipients wil also receive a year’s worth of managerial guidance and support from a top industry executive. The lucky ten finalists who have to anxiously wait until November 15th to learn the results are: Phillip Lim of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Erin Fetherston of Fetherston Design Group, Nunthirat Koi Suwannagate of Koi, Gabriel Asfour, Angela Donhauser and Adi Gil of Threeasfour, Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai of Vena Cava, Victoria Bartlett of VPL, Rogan Gregory of Rogan, Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and Philip Crangi of Philip Crangi Jewelry.
There are a few specific designers that I am rooting for, but out of those Phillip Lim is my front runner. Who do you think will be the lucky designer this year?
