Will Chloë do it Right?
Most fashion afficionados throw a miniature fit every time they hear another celebrity is creating their own fashion line. Almost every week two or three more celebs jump on the designer bandwagon, so you can imagine how tiring life must be for these fashionistas. Oddly, when Chloë Sevigny announced she will be presenting a capsule collection for Opening Ceremony on September 10, the loud shriek you heard from the stylish girl next to you (or maybe that you emitted) may not have been in anger but in glee.
If you said the name Chloë Sevigny to any non-fashionaholic, they may not know who you were talking about, but talking about Sevigny to any fashion diva will surely get a reaction. What that reaction will be is questionable. Her style can sometimes be out there to say the least, and that doesn’t sit well with some people, but others absolutely love her style and worship the fashionable ground she walks on.
The Opening Ceremony capsule collection was designed by Chloë, Humberto Leon, owner of Opening Ceremony, and a few their friends. If you are in the NYC area you can go see the presentation on September 10 anytime between noon and 6 p.m.
