Out of the thousands of blogs on this thing we call the interweb, you've landed on Pink Rock Candy. Why? Because we rock— I mean, because you're either really interested in fashion and/or music, or because you were looking for a good recipe to make pink rock candy. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the latter, but I'm addicted to fashion and music so click around. If you don't find what your looking for, send me and email at pinkrockfashion@gmail.com and tell me to get on my J-O-B!

The ELLE Makeover Challenge

Chelsea Rae | Contests, Magazines | Friday, 28 September 2007

Elle, October 2007 - Reese WitherspoonELLE is full of great content, and they want you, yes YOU to be part of it. Have you ever wanted to try out a new hair color or maybe just make a change from your usual mascara and lip gloss routine? The people at ELLE want to see your makeovers, and they will pick one of you to be in the magazine.

Here’s how it works:
Just take some before and after shots of your makeover (myspace pose optional), and email them to ellemakeover@hfmus.com. Make sure you tell them your name, age, profession, where you live, and write a statement (no more than 100 words) about how your look changed and why you love it.

The winner of the contest gets a round-trip ticket to NYC and a two-night hotel stay. You also get a complimentary makeover, inspired by your winning makeover, and will be photographed and put in the January 2008 issue of ELLE. If that is awesome, I’m not sure what is.
