Shoegasm of the Week: Retro Platform Pumps

Chelsea Rae Simmons | Shoes | Tuesday, 02 October 2007

Rinaldi Retro Platform Pumps (Turquoise)Its happened again. I’ve fallen and I can’t get up. Well, at least I don’t want to get up without this pair of shoes. They’re called ‘Retro Platform Pumps’ and are by Rinaldi.

I’ve never heard of the shoe brand Rinaldi, but I do know these shoes have stolen my heart, for now. The shoes have a pointed square toe, which seems like an oxymoron, but works. They also have a cushioned sole, so the almost 5 inches of heel (1″ of platform), won’t kill your feet. If you aren’t swooning over the turquoise, the shoes also com in black, yellow, and red. I’m pretty sure these are the shoes that will attract Mr. Right, or at least Mr. Right Now!

I found them at this great webstore called flyjane.net. They have tons of swank accessories at a cheap price, and carry brands like Steve Madden, Classifies, Dollhouse, Ed Hardy, and many more. They also have this great program called ‘The Hook-up Program’ where you win reward points for buying shoes. When you buy 7 pairs of shoes you get a $50 voucher to use a will. STOKED!

Oh my, RINALDI! I’m a shoe OCD-case and, I gotta say, Rinaldi shoes are really not bad at all. That website is fantastic! Thank you!!!

  • Oh, I’m glad Rinaldi isn’t a super shitty shoe brand; I would feel bad. but the shoes are extra cute, so I might have had to sacrifice comfort for style. Oh darn!

I’m glad you like the website, and your blog is awesome too!

  • Retro clothing is the bomb! My favorite place to find it is Goodwill or any thrift store. Ebay is also a great place to find what you are looking for.

  • Of all the great retro fashion designers of out time it is my humble opinion that Tommy Hilfiger is one of the greatest and most successful we have ever seen. He exudes success and his product range is of the highest quality and made from the best raw materials.
