Target is Ready for the Future
When do runway shows get the attention of the non-fashion loving public? When they show is in Grand Central and completely holographic to boot. Every year mega retailer, Target, pulls a stunt to shock and awe, and each year they also try to out do their last stunt.
So far some of the cooler things the Target crew have come up with are buying all the ad pages in one edition of The New Yorker, and another time they had a vertical fashion show where the models walked down the side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
This year they are having a holographic fashion show for their fall/winter designer apparel, featuring such designers as Isaac Mizrahi, Liz Lange, Mossimo, and I assume Erin Fetherston, with Dominique Cohen Jewelry and sexy shoes from Hollywould. There will be no models and no clothing, per se, everything will be holograms projected in the beautiful Grand Central Terminal. This futuristic fashion show will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday, November 6th and 7th, every 10 minutes, and the video of the show will be posted on Facebook, YouTube, and the Target website.

Awesome, I’ll have to check it out!
I know I’m trying to figure out how to rearrange my schedule so I can take the train to school one of those days instead of drive.
