Pink Rock Candy – Top fashion trends, news and shopping of 2010

So today I officially turn 19, not that it really makes a difference in my day to day activities. I have class pretty much all day today, but tomorrow I’m having dinner with family and a certain cute musician is playing (no one famous unless my family really love me and are getting Patrick Stump to sing me ‘Happy Birthday’). The past week or so I’ve been trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to wear.

In my dream world, I’d be dressed as a punk princess by Vivienne Westwood or Betsey Johnson, or like a hippie cupcake by Marc Jacobs. As amazing as that would be, I don’t really have that kind of money (yet), and those looks would be too dressy for going to the restaurant I’m going to. Instead, I chose to go for something a little different. Its an H&M dress I found last week and it cost about $25. I got it for a 10% discount because the girl at the register tore it trying to get the security sensor tag out (nothing a couple of stitches couldn’t fix). I think I’m going to put a t-shit under it tomorrow since its a bit cold, but that’s the dress along with whatever shoes I fall for between now and then.

And, since we’re on the topic on my birthday and H&M, the new Roberto Cavalli for H&M collection comes out today. PAR-TAY!
