Get Your Wang Fix at UNIQLO
![]() |
Alexander Wang is the epitome of new school chic. He went from semi-conservative hippie in his Spring 2008 collection to urban/hobo/hipster in his Fall/Winter 2008 collection, and I seemed to love it all. I’m sort of really against most really “urban” looking clothes, but Wang obviously knows how to bring out the hipster-thug in everyone. Now instead of just fawning over pictures of Alexander Wang’s collection I could actually just head to UNIQLO and buy a piece or two.
According to Fashionista.com, who got their info from WWD, Alexander Wang is going to be part of UNIQLO’s Designer Invitation Project with Juliana Jabour, Tim Hamilton and Loden Dager.
The collection is going to be eight pieces, and will only be out for the month of May— this means, if I actually want to get my grubbies on a piece or two, I’m going to have to make friends with someone who works at UNIQLO and fast, because I’m sure it wont last.
Do you know what makes me even more depressed? Nothing in the collection costs more than $79, and some pieces even cost as little as $29. Maybe we should start forming a line outside of UNIQLO now, I’ll bring the donuts if you bring the coffee!
