I’m not exactly sure the twisting of my quote was malicious because ‘fresh’ can be used in so many different was. I appreciate their opinion and don’t expect everyone to like what I like. It’s okay that they didn’t agree with me, and I sort of stood out considering I was the only quote that had something good to say about the line. Thanks for the advice though. If I were more offended, I’d definitely email the editor-in-chief.

Holy crap! I said Yay before realizing there was more to read of the story. I still say Yay for the fact that you got a mention, but that editing of your quote is appalling. You should write to editor in chief and cc the reporter. I’m totally serious. If I were still in journalism and one of my editors were twisting quotes like that, I’d want to know. Then I’d go through everything the bitch ever wrote to see if I need to fire him/her.
