I really miss Gemma too. Those three truly do all look the same, it’s sort of weird, but I think they’re supposed to all look like the same robotic socialite.

The pictures are magnificent. They remind of fashion photography from the '80's, particularly ones based on the Faye Dunaway movie, Eyes of Laura Mars. I think one of the reasons they work so well is because they can't be taken too seriously. It's obvious that the photographer has created a D&C fantasy world with these photos. I miss Gemma. I like how her face shape is a little bit different from the other girls’ but I can see how it would work differently in this ad campaign. It seems like uniformity of face and figure is an important element in this series that maybe wasn’t as important in the Spring/Summer ads. What am I saying? Ok over analysis…
