Very informative, as usual. I agree with Lauren, every one is not addicted to fashion blogs like I am, so for a major news outlet to cover the issue is a good thing. Besides, you never really know how people feel on a given subject unless you talk about it. That’s when the passions run high and you gain insight into the public’s true views.

This is why I keep coming back to you. Good reportage.

I think the interview reached a far wider audience than fashion websites do. So, for us in the fashion world the issue has been beaten to death; but for the “outsiders” this is new and they’ve never really heard it discussed.Diversity is making its way into the industry and this could be a nice kick-start for it.
