Draped in McQ

It’s no secret how amazing Alexander McQueen’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection was. I’ve seen the lovely ballerina style dresses in almost every slightly fashion related magazines, but with these great collections people tend to forget their fantastic diffusion counterparts. Case in point, the fall/winter McQ collection which is on Net-A-Porter.com and has one of the most adorable and indispensable dresses I’ve seen in a while.
The gray ‘draped tank dress’ initially caught my eye because of the tied black belt. I have a tendency to loathe dresses that come nicely packaged with accessories, but I think I might actually wear this dress with is extra-long black sash. Something about it is very rogue-y and completely endearing.
Also, who doesn’t need a fantastic wool jersey dress for fall? I know if I had $585 to blow, I’d definitely buy it!
Last but not least, just picture this dress with extra-bright shoes, maybe even these hot pink Giambattista Valli platforms, and a heap of large bangles. This dress would even look awesome with some lace tights or maroon colored thigh highs. The combinations are endless, and my love is priceless. Swoon!
