Silence Becomes Me

There are times when the only way to keep from doing the homework you’re supposed to do is to avoid your computer like the plague. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing for the past couple days, but while offline, I was able to watch this movie called Silence Becomes You starring Alicia Silverstone and Sienna Guillory. Though I’m still scratching my head over the content of the movie, I’m completely in love with Grace’s (Sienna) style.

The character pretty much dressed as if she were a grandma stuck in her roaring 20s past but still tripping on the colors of the psychedelic 60s. She’s pretty much everything I’ve ever wanted to be, but the societal standards of dressing— not to mention, the limited vintage wardrobe— are hindering me from fulfilling this desire.

Thanks, my confusing indie movie friend, for doing something the Spring/Summer 2009 fashion shows seem unable to do, inspire.
