Bringing In The Spirit

Tomorrow’s Christmas, and the hardest thing for most people to do is to dress festively without looking like a complete and utter joke. In the December issue of Elle, Joe Zee gives a lot of great tips, and I took that and decided to create my own Christmas outfit.
That skirt is one of my favorites for the winter because it’s really basic and is heavy because unfortunately, the north-eastern winters get a bit chilly— what an understatement. I actually wore that skirt to two interviews I had a couple of weeks ago. One was for PR Consulting and the other was for Tractenberg & Co. Though I didn’t get both internships, I was asked to be an intern in the fashion department of T&C. I’m so excited to start!
The shirt is a satin boudoir style dress from Victoria’s Secret. I doubt I will ever wear it as a dress, but it’s perfect for tucking in and wearing as a shirt. The bright red color was perfect for bringing the Christmas spirit to the outfit, and the hoodie kept things really simple because hanging out with my family doesn’t need an extremely dressy look.
