It’s Getting to My Head

Chelsea Rae Simmons | Accessories,Fashion,Hair Accessories,Necklaces | Wednesday, 15 July 2009

So, maybe I wasn’t kidding about wanting to wear head jewels like the “Princess of the East”, but I think I might only sport this look on the small scale.

Pink Rock Candy, Chelsea Rae, Jeweled headband

All I did was take a necklace and clasp it so it fit my head. Then, using the excess chain, create a chandelier look on one side, and keep it together using the clasp.

Shirt: Forever 21  •  Necklaces: Target  •  Belt: Vintage

    hahah, yessssssss.
making a whole new item out of something it was not originally intended for…my favorite.
that’s being a true recessionista. even though i hate that tacky word, it still is.

Oh my, that looks really good! It’s a very original way of wearing a necklace, and well, I’m always a fan of hair ornaments too.

really cute – another thing I’ve done is wrapped the necklace around a headband – you can still get the little drape wherever you want it – but a little easier to keep in place….cutie cute cute…..
