Anna Sheffield for Target: Pics or it Didn’t Happen!
Anna Sheffield’s diffusion jewelry collection at Target will be released in almost 30 days, August 30, and I have yet to see photos from the actual collection. It’s starting to worry me.
You know when your favorite musician’s album release date keeps getting pushed back— well, that’s what a lack of press coverage is like in the fashion industry. H&M released photos of their Jimmy Choo line almost 6 months ahead of time, and images of Anna Sui’s target one-off have been circulating for a couple of months too, not that they were released for the world to gawk at in their online press room.
Needless to say, without official images, the customer will begin to think the collection isn’t finished yet, and we still have time to drop a note in the suggestion box— or, maybe that’s just me.
p.s. take a page out of Anna Sui’s book, because being “inspired” by your own collection is not knocking anything off.
