My first Strawberry Shortcake doll. She smelled so divine, that I used to walk around holding her and taking sniffs of the yummy strawberry scent wherever I went!
  • Kelly Ann T.
My favorite doll memory is when my dad got me a Mrs. Beasley doll from the show Family Affair. I was so excited because I had a doll like Buffy.
  • Michelle Berry
My favorite doll moment was when my mom bought me the Farrah Fawcett doll when it first came out. She had real eyelashes and her jumpsuit outfit was gorgeous. She even had fully washable hair which is great for a kid. I remember screaming and jumping around like a crazy little girl..lol..I was in heaven because we were a lower income family and we usually didn't get the things we wanted. We usually received whatever the thrift stores had. It was a precious moment I will always remember....

I really wanted a Cabbage Patch doll for Christmas my mom had searched all over and was unable to get one. My grandmothers friend ending up making me a doll similar to one with a birth certificate and all. I was really disappointed at the time but I look back on it now fondly. Knowing how far they went out of their way to make me happy.

I had the coolest Cabbage Patch doll when I was younger. She went everywhere with me!
  • My favorite doll memory has to be watching my daughters play in their own little world with Barbies, Tinkerbell and other Disney Princesses. I was a total tomboy growing up and mutilated any doll I got, so I don't have any personal memories I think of fondly with dolls! :)

It's just a sweet thing, now that I've "grown" up, have 3 daughters and have been drawn into the fashion scene, I've definitely come a long way. And I'm even dressing up as Princess Tiana (Disney's Princess & the Frog) for Halloween. Yup, I've come a LONG way!

My mom was a big collector of porcelain dolls growing up. I had one with blond hair blue eyes that was dressed in a dress that looked like the England flag with white stockings and red shoes. she came with a suitcase full of clothes and accessories and I use to dress her up all the time. my favorite outfit was her swimsuit.

I had a brunette "Ginny" doll, my sister had a blonde Ginny doll, and we spent hours dressing them and playing with them. I loved her little shoes.
  • Fav Doll Memory? Sewing new outfits for my Barbies! A little fashionista in the making. Le sigh!
  • My favorite doll memory is of Christmas time... I was probably around the age of eight. I couldn't WAIT to push the covers off my bed, leap downstairs and find a Barbie I had been wishing for (maybe Malibu Barbie?) underneath the Christmas tree. Well, as it turns out, she was there along with a Barbie cherry red convertible! It was a good Christmas. :)
  • Nicole Lilly
This would be a great prize to win. I love the shirt and the boots are Hot!
  • My fave memory was getting a Jem doll. I loved that chick. I wanted the Misfits too but I couldn't get all of them.

My favorite doll memory is of me wishing I could get a doll of my favorite Sailor Moon character...but they didn't actually manufacture it so there was no way I could get it. Anyway, I made my own using what resources I had available. It wasn't great, but I was happy.
