When the Wheels Come Down
I’ve been so consumed with fashion related stuff, I’ve sort of ignored my second love, music. I can read and play it to some extent, but I love listening to the way other people arrange the same notes and turn them into something amazing.
On my drive to and from school, I try to listen to the radio, my favorite newish songs are “Wheels” by Foo Fighters, “The Fixer” by Pearl Jam, “Relator” by Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson, and “Kings and Queens” by 30 Seconds to Mars. Though I hear these songs often, today was the first day I realized there might be music videos to go along with some of the songs, and I was right!
My favorite video is the one for “Wheels”, not because they spent a billion dollars on it, but because I love seeing Dave Grohl and the gang just jam. So listen, watch, love:

Music soothes the soul
I’m so obsessed with ‘The Fixer”. I’ve also been listening to “Help I’m Alive” by Metric. When it came out I didn’t really like it, but then got into way late. It’s fall so I’m into old school Rilo Kiley. My album for August was the new Taking Back Sunday album – my faves being “Carpathia”, “Sink Into Me”, and “New Again”.
Camille, I love everything Kings of Leon, Only By The Night is still my favorite album of the last 5 year
J, I like the newest TBS album, but not as much as all the other ones. “Sink Into Me’ and “New Again” are super catchy though!
