CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund 2009 Finalists [Video]
I generally have a hard time choosing which emerging designer(s) I want to win the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund each year— It’s like the Academy Awards, I like to think my opinion of the winner counts— and this year is no different. I’ve consolidated my Fashion Fund finalist list to Gary Graham, Ohne Titel, Wayne and House of Waris, but I couldn’t really make a decision. Luckily, Vogue just released a short video with all of the finalists speaking about what the Fashion Fund means to them, what they would do if they won, and what fashion means to them in general. The small piece of insight was quite helpful in narrowing my list even further, but I can’t tell you who I want to win because I might jinx it.
