Pink Rock Candy, 3.1. Phillip Lim Surplus Neckline Dress This weeks unattainable lust is a 3.1 Phillip Lim burnout silk dress named the ‘Surplus Neckline’ dress.

I adore a good v-neck dress, and think it can be flattering on almost anyone especially with this amount of draping. Plus the soft lines and slouchy lace is so effortlessly chic it hurts. I can totally see myself wearing this out to some chic fashion party I’ve yet to be invited to in NYC. Since I’m sans and invite, I guess being sans the dress is okay to, but it does happen to be perfect. Did I mention how apropos kitschy bow is for a fun-filled night of soirees and beautiful people?

Oh, Phillip Lim, will you be the Karl Lagerfeld to my Rachel Zoe and have gorgeous clothing babies with me? I’d much appreciate it!

    i was so stunned when i found this dress! i was scanning through a ton of sites, and when i saw this one i KNEW it had to go on my guide. i made my guide almost two weeks ago, and then when whowhatwear.com posted about this dress, i was so mad! because i was like great, now everyone’s going to think i just stole their idea. haha. ohhh well, it’s amazing. why don’t we have $625 to spend on it? it’s disappointing.

    I seriously didn’t even have time to look at anyone’s gift guides this week. It’s so funny that we both found this dress (but I did see it initially on Who What Wear when going through my unchecked emails yesterday night). Someone needs to give us a lust budget so we can buy all these amazing items that no one can truly afford.
