Do musicians inspire fashion or does fashion inspire musicians? That is a question I ask myself constantly. I love music so much, especially rock music, and I constantly get confused whether I got a style idea from one of my fave musicians or from the runway. One of my new favorite bands, as of last Spring, is The Almost a.k.a. Aaron Gillespie’s side project gone giant. After taking music by storm with both the bands Underoath and The Almost, Aaron decide to add fashion designer to his resume.
He created the clothing line called Pig Cloth with his gorgeous wife Jamie (they’re honestly the cutest couple ever). All the tees are limited edition, and they tend to sell out quickly. They are also super inexpensive with prices around $18.00 per shirt. Oh, and did I mention they have an extra cute piggy on it. Yes, pigs can be cute! Right now, their new tess are the ‘Pig on Tour’ tees. The adorable little pig is hanging out of a tour bus window, and I’m jealous because I’d love to hang out a tour bus window or maybe just go on tour (a girl can dream). Another new tee is the ‘We Believe’ tee. This tee has a ton of tiny piglets on the front and a larger pig on the back that has “we believe in love, we believe in truth, we believe in honesty, we believe in you” written under it. THe shirts are inspiring and so darn cute, I just want to eat them up…wait?
